Cinnamon Sugar Pineapple Recipe

This recipe is so simple and yummy, you’ll always want to have pineapple on hand!

Ingredients

Pineapple cubed and covering your saute pan in only one layer
Cinnamon
Sugar
1 tablespoon butter
Vanilla ice cream

  1. Melt the butter on your saute pan at medium heat. Then arrange the cubed pineapple in one layer on your saute pan. Sprinkle a thin, but visible layer of sugar and then cinnamon on top of the pineapple. Saute for 5 minutes.
  2. Flip the pineapple chunks over with a spatula and sprinkle a thin, but visible layer of sugar and then cinnamon on top of the pineapple. Saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Flip the chunks again and saute for another 3 minutes. Keep flipping until the sugar and cinnamon have caramelized. You’ll be able to tell this has happened when you flip the pineapple and it sticks to the spatula, about 4-5 flips. Once that happens, flip the pineapple chunks once more and then serve atop ice cream. Be careful, the chunks are hot!
